Steam Turbine Categories

Our steam turbines are classified into several categories according to their ability to utilize steam pressure and the relationship between flow capacity and turbine dimensions.

Each category is designed for different applications, ranging from industrial installations to large-scale power generation.

7KA:
Primarily suited for water turbines and water pumps, providing basic energy utilization. It can also be used in steam turbine applications, such as gasoline-powered generator systems. However, because of its limited additional steam pressure utilization, it is not the optimal choice for demanding steam applications.
9KA:
Developed for two-stage steam pressure utilization, with a projected 42% additional energy recovery compared with basic models. Although this advanced design is estimated to cost at least five times more, it offers significant potential value for long-term energy investments.
8KA:
Designed for single-stage additional steam pressure utilization, enabling efficient energy conversion with minimal losses. This category serves as the foundation for advanced, high-performance turbine models.
Advanced Categories (10KA, 11KA, 13KA and Beyond):
Designed to achieve even greater flow capacity relative to turbine dimensions, making them suitable for large-scale energy systems. The final turbine size and category depend on customer requirements, with an extensive range of possible turbine and pump configurations.

These categories provide flexibility and scalability, allowing turbines to be customized for applications ranging from small local installations to major nuclear and thermal power plants.
